Normal Drape (Traditional Way) - A very elegant and royal dupatta wearing style which will not only make you look good but also keep you warm. It is ideal for cotton and linen dupattas.
Pleat and one Shoulder :- This is a vintage style which you must try. It will render a neat and polished look. The style can be carried with ease. Try this style for formal events. This style can be used with Salwaar Kameez and Lehenga both. If you want to show your waist in Lehenga Choli, go for this one.
One side Pleats and open on other :- One of the most beautiful styles, this is ideal for dupattas that have a beautifully emphasized border. Any fabric will work for this style.
Opened and pinned on 1 side :- If you are wearing a heavily embroidered or sequinned dupatta then this is the best style for it. Keep the rest of the outfit simple and let the dupatta take the attention. Best style again for bit of Navel show in Lehenga
On the Elbows from Behind :- This is one of the most popular styles of wearing a dupatta. It is also one of the ways to wear a dupatta with lehenga. Absolutely chic and classy, this style will add a princess vibe to your look. Another classy way to show midriff.
Tugged in waist belt :- Now this one is exclusive for Lehengas/ Ghagras and Cholis. Show ample of Navel and enjoy the view with dupatta nicely tugged in waist band keeping it away from your belly. Or you can cover it aswell
High Neck Styles :- Now this one probably is the sexiest way to wear your dupatta. Not recommended to those who do not like cleavages being exposed. If you wear this style with tank neck, you will end up showing more than you wish to. So be careful, but otherwise it looks awesome
Pinned over head and draped over one side :- Using the same dupatta for pinning over the head as well as draping over one shoulder without any pleating is one of the best ways of achieving a bridal lehenga single dupatta draping style. The style presents a royal semblance and is thus also used by most high-end designers.
Apart from the above mentioned, there could be more styles which can be used to drape / wear a dupatta. Try the one that you like the most and let me know them too..
Have fun;
Thank You
